“The path to creation was long and adventurous for me, hindered from the start. But the dream came true little by little, although for a long time I wanted to keep my work “confidential”. Until it felt completed.
But it was all just an excuse. Above all, I sought to nourish an insatiable curiosity for all forms of artistic expression.
Being an artist driven by the desire to express myself through all pictural techniques, it is ultimately by combining several of them on the same work that I have remained true to myself.
My inspiration is the fruit of my emotions in the face of beauty, the unusual, the insignificant, but also in the face of societal and environmental issues.
Whatever the object or subject of the work is, it contains a touch of poetry, reverie, even mystery. The aim is to leave room for the imagination of those who discover the work.
Often the materials used (wood, paper, canvas, etc..) come from recovery and recycling.
“Art can create its own reality.” This is my observation and the common thread of my creativity. After all, is creation not the expression of a certain subjectivity?
